He's not tryna scam you lol. That's what everyone does, like owsap and marty too. Yes, they do provide help, support and new features for their sf but for the one that you bought, For example, you bought the v1 version. You would still get updates and support for that. But nobody would give you a whole new version for free, because you bought the previous one.

Yes. He is. Everyone would and will do the same. There was many others posts like that for owsap for example. Many ppl bought his previous sf, then he made the v6 and people was expecting to get a whole new project for free.
The two projects are different things.
Let's say you bought a pair of new shoes a few weeks ago on sale. Or even on a full price. The seller and the company provides you warranty.
They release a brand new pair of shoes. You wore yours for a couple of weeks, or months. You go back to the store, with your reciepe and warranty, to exchange it to a brand new pair or other shoes.
You think they gonna do it? Let me answer that. No. Just because it's manufactured in the same factory, made by the same company, and sold in the same store... it's not gonna be the same product.
