Not answered Pls help mysql 5.6

can't install mysql 5.6

root@ambr:~ # cd /usr/ports/databases/mysql56-server
root@ambr:/usr/ports/databases/mysql56-server # make install
===> mysql56-server-5.6.49 cannot install: unknown MySQL version: 56.
*** Error code 1

Stop.
make: stopped in /usr/ports/databases/mysql56-server
root@ambr:/usr/ports/databases/mysql56-server #



this command doesn't work either

Hello, they completly removed mysql 5.6 from repositories, so you cannot install it anymore, but you can find vdi's in forum with installed mysql 5.6

it is only possible to upload freebsd .iso

Ive seen somewhere posted the mysql5.6 ports , u can use that too after installation, but Its not guaranteed that works with your freebsd version
