After many years, I'm interested in tinkering with server files again and started by looking around on Pservern to see what people are doing. I noticed that most servers probably use the same basis (inventory side buttons, Switchbot, Biologist-gui, events, vote4buff, passive skills...) everything looks pretty much the same. However, I couldn't find any such files; do people build all this themselves, or are there any “go for it” server files that I'm overlooking?
In addition, most of the files I find run on old versions of MySQL and FreeBSD. When I found something more recent, it was either botched or something else was wrong. The names “martysama” and “owsap” often come up in recommendations, but they don't seem to be active anymore and specific current files are hard to find. So: Which files are recommended and of reasonably high quality, perhaps even a little more than clean official 2024?
I've also noticed a bar above the actual taskbar on some servers, but I can't find any information about it. I don't know what it's actually called, or whether it's available for download anywhere. Can anyone enlighten me? Even though it's not rocket science to implement it yourself, they are almost identical on many servers, so it must be available somewhere. Screenshot added
