Hello!

I've an issue with M2M Remastered mysql, I can't change the password beacuse "mysql not running? (check /var/db/mysql/host.home.pid)."
If I want to continue this, I receive another error like: "ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)"

I really need your help, and I want to thanks your answer early.

I trying to reset all the servert what I did.. So I going to try this now

I'm trying with FreeBSD 9.2 with source, and I struggling with extarcting game, mysql.tar.gz... FreeBSD do not want to extract these files, because not appropirate file format.

And once when I extracting these files manually and I rebooting my server, before the login screen (root, pw) the whole server freezing at "Starting mysql."

Try reboot and after use that codes before start game.

Hello! Try this :
service mysql-server stop

mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &

mysql -u root

use mysql

update user set password=PASSWORD('yourpassword') where user='root';

flush privileges;

quit

service mysql-server restart

I tried these but actually doesn’t work..
Like my mysql is banned
