Hello everyone,

We are working on a new Metin2 private server project with a clear vision:
To bring back the classic Metin2 feel, but refined with quality-of-life improvements and gameplay that doesn't punish you for being a casual.

Our philosophy is simple:

• Play without no-lifing – progress and rewards are designed so even casual players can enjoy the full game.
• True teamplay focus – dungeons and raids are balanced around cooperation, not solo farming.
  For example:
  • Demon Tower (DT) requires groups of 5 players.
  • Devil’s Catacomb (DC) requires groups of 8 players.
• Guilds matters again – we want to encourage the formation of active guilds, alliances, and large-scale cooperation for both PvM and PvP.

What We’re Looking For:​

1. Early BETA Testers
   Help us stress-test the first builds, experiment with balance, and uncover bugs.
2. Official BETA Testers
   Once the server stabilizes, we’ll need more players to try the “almost ready” version and give structured feedback.
3. Community Feedback & Criticism
   Your honest thoughts are what will shape this project into something lasting.
4. Team Members & Contributors
   If you are experienced with development, game design, balancing, community management – or simply have great ideas – we welcome you to join us in building our server.

How Far Our Progress Is:​

• We are currently in the first month of development, but progress has been very strong.
• The game is already playable, well-balanced till the mid-game, and undergoing tweaks for late-game content.
• The server runs stable on a closed network which you can join.
• The website is set up and designed on localhost, fully integrated with the game database.
• We are making rapid progress daily and aim to launch the Early BETA stage by mid-September.
