How to set up a clean Metin2 server – Linux or FreeBSD?

I'm looking to set up my own clean Metin2 private server — no custom systems, just a basic, official-like setup. I have a few questions:

1. Is it possible to run the server on Linux (e.g., Ubuntu Server), or is FreeBSD the only real option? Are there any up-to-date guides or repositories for Linux?
2. Where can I find truly clean server files and a matching unmodified client?
3. What are the minimum system requirements for a small, test server (RAM, CPU, etc.)?
4. Also, is there any complete tutorial covering the whole process — from setting up the server, launching it, to editing things like quests, items, or maps?
